<p><span style="font-size: x-large;">POSITION: SharePoint SME Administration &amp; Release Management</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Responsiabilities:</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Analysis, isolation, diagnosis and resolution of reported technical platform or configuration issues. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Level 2 and 3 SharePoint Infrastructure Support. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Application Performance Management and Capacity Planning </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Tracking of application usage and performance measurement histories. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of performance issues. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; SharePoint Deployment Management </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; SharePoint Site Creations and Code Releases as requested by Development teams. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Teradata will review client request documentation and review desired outcome with Client. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Document and track any changes made to environments. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Teradata will perform changes per client change management policy. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Platform Architecture &amp; Project Support </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Advisory services coordinated through the project life cycle to help assure new sites are properly hosted, efficient, secure, and effectively deployed. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; building out new SharePoint farms </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; site migrations (upgrades) from one environment to another. Currently the customer is planning on migrating some of the SharePoint 2010 sites to the SharePoint 2013 farms that are being built out. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Approximately once per month Customer will send a spreadsheet containing content that needed to be uploaded into a SharePoint list. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Software Upgrade Planning &amp; Execution </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Periodic planning and change management support to help keep environments on the best platform software release offered by the vendor with minimal disruption and maximum benefit. </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Patching of the SharePoint environment. SharePoint cumulative updates are released once a month by Microsoft. Patching of the non-Prod environments was always done during the week; patching of Prod was typically done on Saturday morning (but could also be done starting after 9:00PM Friday evening). </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Service Management and Client Communication </span><br /><span style="font-size: x-large;">&bull; Weekly status reporting confirming activities performed, open issues, and time tracking.</span></p>
