Job Description

" Work with the DevOps Architect or the DevOps Practice execution of strategic planning, road mapping, execution, and continuous improvement of the product and services factory automation at our customer sites.
" Provide Consultancy and architecture support for Application migration to AWS cloud - Migrate on premise applications to target cloud (public/private)
" Produce high-quality, testable and optimally deployed code for complex trading products and components on AWS.
" Work with teams in creating processes and tools to ensure the software release pipeline flows smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
" Able to engineer enterprise-grade solutions using AWS services
" Evaluate Continuous Integrations and Continuous Deployment tools, technologies for appropriate fit to solutions
" Comfortable with Software Development Life Cycles, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
" Interacts with business users, I/T, vendors and customers to define current and future application requirements.
" Involved in troubleshooting and debugging critical problems and resolving complex technical issues that may arise.
" Use your strong background of AWS Cloud services, patterns, container technology, monitoring, telemetry and logging and experience in Cloud migration projects
" Build and manage CI/CD workflows and complex system integration

Minimal Qualifications:
" Minimum 7 - years' experience working in complex enterprise IT environments using software engineering techniques
" Minimum 5 - years' relevant DevOps experience
" Minimum 2-years of relevant AWS Cloud experience
" Minimum 2-years' experience with DevOps monitoring and alerting systems
" Successfully established and implemented a hybrid AWS cloud architecture strategy
" Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience

Preferred Skills:
" You have an awareness of event-based systems, functional programming, and messaging frameworks such as Kafka and EMS
" Experience with stock trading business functionality
" The person is expected to have credible experience in understanding the entire project context, and able to demonstrate the knowledge of end-to-end application architecture in Cloud environment. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various AWS Cloud services, Cloud management and monitoring technologies and Java programming technologies (Core Java, C, JMS, Spring/Spring Boot, Web Services, Hibernate/DAO frameworks and advanced messaging and microservices framework
