Summary:

Our Fortune 500 Media Client is seeking a talented test automation / software engineer with excellent Python programming skills. In this unique opportunity, the engineer will work with a small team automating tests that accurately measure functional and non-functional behaviors of the components of the client's Connectivity Platform solution to support Continuous Delivery goals.

Responsibilities of the Python Automation Engineer:
  • Leverage Python on the Robot Framework to script advanced test scenarios
  • Guide configuration and implementation of automated robot testing frameworks
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics
  • Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements
  • Determine manual test cases that are candidates for automation
  • Manage Product Testing deliverables
  • Ensure proper maintenance and tracking of test cases and test accounts
Requirements of the Python Automation Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of Python scripting experience
  • Experience with robot test automation framework required
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency using JIRA for work management and reporting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to test plans
