Job Description

Qualification:

We are looking for a Python Web Developer who is also responsible for managing Security Vulnerability for infrastructure and applications

  • Excellent understanding of network, system and application security
  • Knowledge of OWASP framework and application security best practices
  • Knowledge of various vulnerability scanning solutions, scripting and automation
  • Strong programming ability in Python and should have developed web applications using Django framework
  • Web application development in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases and other data storage solutions
  • Application development work experience in  UNIX/Linux environments
  • Experience in service and/or product management and managing expectations with customers and development team

Responsibilities:

·         Works independently to develop, configure, code and test web applications in Python.

·         Programs web applications and supports new applications under development and customization of current applications

·         Implementation of security and data protection in application

·         Responsible for executing infrastructure vulnerability scans, working with cross-functional teams to evaluate the appropriate risk, recommend appropriate remediation solutions for identified vulnerabilities and track remediation.

·         Responsible for maintaining and categorizing inventory of assets to be scanned.

·         Coordinate work efforts with other teams such as patch team, infrastructure management, security operations, governance & risk. Communicate project and operational metrics.

Title : Python Backend Developer with RPC (Remote Procedure Call)  Knowledge:

Location : Austin TX

JD:

·        solid coding experience in Python 2 and 3

·         Should be very strong in Python language fundamentals

·         Should have worked in Python RPC (Remote Procedure Call) protocols, libraries and frameworks.

·         Experience in Python migration projects from 2 to 3 is an added advantage. 

·         Knowledge in Protocol Buffer concepts is a  plus

·         Knowledge in Google App Engine  is a plus

·         Experience in service and/or product management and managing expectations with customers and development teams.
