Job Description

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience supporting Tomcat, Apache and JBoss, including resource allocation, operational procedures, cluster configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Custom Web Application architecture, to better support applications
  • Ideally, knowledge of load balancer technology (Netscaler is a big plus)
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure services: DNS, WINS, DHCP
  • Basic understanding of LDAP and Active Directory Group/User object manipulation
  • Proficient in MS Windows Server environments
  • Flexibility to work out of normal working hours as and when required.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiar with cloud services in AWS/Azure. Ideally, knowledge of Elastic beanstalk, OpsWorks, Elastic Cluster Service (ECS)
  • Familiar with Chef, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or another Infrastructure-as-a-Code technology
  • Can do attitude is a must


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor s / Master s degree in a related field of engineering or business administration
  • 3+ years of experience of Linux system administrator, including scripting, resource management, configuration, performance tuning and monitoring
  • 3+ years of experience in a system administrator role
