Seeking a Data Quality Analyst

  • Data Quality Analyst (DQA) is responsible for managing and improving the quality of data 
  • This individual will identify data quality issues, investigate issues identified by others, research and implement solutions to correct problems, design code to correct historical data, develop alarm reports and monitoring programs, and execute data quality initiatives 
  • This individual will work with business partners to identify data quality issues and address them in order based upon urgency and priority
  • This individual will create the quality analyst function and structure. Ambition and good communication skills are paramount.
  • Troubleshoot / Triage ETL processing failures & warnings Write documents including status reports, solution summaries, and operations & training guides 
  • Communicate in person or by phone, chat, email, and Webex 
  • Share ETL technical expertise & knowledge Investigation using Unix to manipulate and research data in flat files 
  • Able to effectively and efficiently work with an enterprise environment involving large data sets 
  • Execute data validation, data integrity, data profiling, data auditing, and data gap analyses 
  • Implement data cleansing and data improvement initiatives 
  • Design and develop processes to validate new data and changes in processes 
  • Design and implement data quality monitoring reports, alerts, processes and governance 
  • Document existing and potential data structures and data flow processes 
  • Perform daily monitoring of feed files from factories and coordinate correction of invalid data 
  • Develop the back-end of dashboards that can be used to track and improve data quality 
  • Data Quality Analysis and Reporting 
  • Data Extraction using Unix scripts and ETL tools and SQL queries and procs
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • 7 to 9 years of Strong ETL Design and development skills and 
  • Deep expertise on Complex SQL coding in an Oracle environment 
  • Prior experience implementing process improvements in ETL applications 
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
Desired Skills: 
  • Exposure to Cognos/Tableau, spotfire or any other reporting tools 
  • Bachelors' degree in Computer or equivalent professional experience
