Senior Frontend Developer


Job Description


As a Senior Front-End Developer at CoStar, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing new products and features across our Apartment Network sites. These include high traffic sites like Apartments.com, ForRent.com, ApartmentFinder.com, and others. You will work with a broad range of technologies and will be integral in driving our products to provide the best UI/UX in the industry. Our position requires a keen eye for design as well as a solid foundation in web technologies and practices. We need someone that is a team motivator and driven to produce quality products in a fast paced environment. Our teams include Full Stack Developers, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Database Developers, Product Developers, and DevOps Engineers that work together to produce and support products that are used by millions of visitors every month. Major Responsibilities:


- Implement web-based software solutions


- Implement new software functionality using state-of-the-art industry standard frameworks


- Evaluate existing solutions, propose and implement improvements and extensions as required by the overall architecture of the product


- Contribute to the team-s SDLC improvement initiatives by utilizing standard practices as well as proposing areas of improvement - design, planning, implementation, testing, and documentation


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience, minimum of 3+ years of proven software development


- Deep web application development experience and fluency with JavaScript (one or more modern frameworks including React, Angular or Vue), CSS, and HTML


- Experience with C#, Java or JavaScript.


- Demonstrates knowledge of NPM and NuGet


- Demonstrates knowledge of REST services


- Demonstrates knowledge of Unit, Integration, and Performance testing


- Experience in multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


- Experience with version control systems like GIT and TFS
