Job Description
  • Responsibilities:
  • Supporting our network and firewall environment (core), site to site VPN, and Network performance.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot networking issues (switches and routers).
  • Must be able to share in 24x7 support of critical IT infrastructure and services.
  • Handle critical system/network projects and see through completion.
  • Availability to travel to remote sites when needed.
  • Being objective and focus on the projects or the issues at hand while under stress.
  • Troubleshooting PCs Desktops
  • Supporting end users in a Microsoft Windows based network environment specifically Windows 7, XP and printers as well as Active Directory 2003.
  • Supporting IT infrastructures (i.e. Exchange server, Active Directory servers, DHCP, file/print servers, backups, and storage).
  • Managing end-user desktop updates and security.
  • Managing IT assets and inventory (e.g. PC and server hardware, software licenses, etc).
  • Have a result and resolution over effort mindset (Key).
  • Will spend 30% doing Desktop helpdesk support.
