You could be a great fit if you have: 

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • More than seven years of experience in an ETL developer role
  • More than three years of experience in Python, pandas and Django
  • More than two years of experience in cloud implementation
  • Strong experience in building and optimizing data warehouse solutions and data modeling, as well as a robust understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong ETL performance-tuning skills and the ability to analyze and optimize production volumes and batch schedules
  • Expert level skill in modeling, managing, scaling and performance tuning high-volume transactional databases
  • Understanding of the Agile method and its implementation for data warehouse development
  • The ability to understand repeatable automated processes for building, testing, documenting and deploying an application at scale
  • An understanding of traditional and alternative asset class investment data, such as equity, fixed income, private equity, real estate, derivatives, mutual funds, ETFs, global assets and foreign exchange, with capital markets knowledge and experience desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of settings and styles, taking initiative to recommend and develop innovative approaches
  • The ability to identify and resolve any performance- or data-related issues, quickly finding common ground as a team player who encourages collaboration
  • Experience with Celery, RESTful APIs and server-side APIs integration; plus experience with development methodologies, database platforms and data modeling tools (erwin Data Modeler/SAS Model Manager)
  • Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio and Advanced T-SQL and SQL Server databases
  • Experience in any big data technologies, such as Hadoop, EMR, Amazon Redshift or Amazon s3
  • Experience with batch data processing with SFTP/SSH and Unix/Linux
  • Expertise in operational data stores and real time data integration
  • Experience in stream processing services such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Apache Storm and Spark Streaming
  • Experience in DevOps stack (CI & CD) and other dependency management and build tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Ant and Ivy
  • The ability to think globally about all aspects of the Bank, including discussing multiple considerations of an issue and forecasting them into the future, based on an understanding of how the Bank works, competes, serves clients and generates shareholder value
