Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Gains understanding of GenMark’s technology and data structures
  • Integrates heterogeneous and complex data sets to provide deeper insight into company data, interacting cross-functionally as necessary
  • Delivers automation for data access and processing to enable efficient use of relevant information
  • Contributes to the development of internal analytics code libraries
  • Supports the development of algorithms and models
  • Demonstrates competency and enthusiasm for advancing our analytics strategy
  • Communicates clearly and effectively and uses good software engineering practices

Qualifications/Experience

  • Education
    • BS 2+ years, MS
    • Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • Required
    • Experience with Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, sklearn)
    • Experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets
    • Experience with scripting and automation
    • Familiarity with heterogeneous data structures
    • Good code documentation and testing practices
    • Experience with version control (git) and team tools
