Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Develops a wide variety of standard to complex reports for clinical business assessments utilizing the Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Analyzes and interprets clinical, utilization and quality data elements to initiate, modify and improve reports. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of clinical operations and processes.

Required Skills:

  • 3 + years progressive clinical systems support experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with SQL query development, MS SQL reporting
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, Access); standard reporting tools (Crystal reports, Microsoft BIDS/SSRS, Access) and Query optimization
  • Strong foundation on T-SQL
  • Understanding of general IT infrastructure
  • Familiarity with EMR software required. (EPIC, eClinical, Meditech). Allscripts experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate client informational needs and to determine appropriate alternative solutions
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Development, testing and implementation of MLMs (medical logic modules)
  • Development, testing and implementation of objects plus for custom tabs and other initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with clinicians, operational management, IT and executive level staff
  • Process, Current/Future State, Gap Analysis skills
