-Respond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
-Provide IT support for Windows, Microsoft Office, and a variety of other applications used internally
-Configuring a variety of devices including laptops, iPhone/Android and printers
-Configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint service applications, including Search and Excel Services, User Profiles, Workflow Provisioning and configuring SharePoint solutions, features, sites, workflows, web parts, and master pages.
-Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
Systems Support Engineer
-Operations, growing into tech
-#1 thing ? soft skills, client facing/ customer centric (soft skills rank higher than tech skills)
-Hit the ground running w/ lower level support
-Client in the bay area and some out of state
-Have 3 datacenters, they are a reseller
-Touching everything from exchange, anti-virus solutions
-Day to day desktop support, end users etc.
-AD domains/ Exchange
-Servers, network hard ware (how to log in, change)
-1 office in palo alto (clients in the bay)
-Setting your own schedule given client's needs, driving not every day but there is travel a few times a week
