Job Description
We are looking for the right person to join the global engineering organization as a cloud engineer to define strategy and engineer global solutions for public and private cloud adoption. Responsibilities will include building scalable, stable and highly available automation and orchestration mechanisms and tooling for the new platforms as well as working to continually enhance Nomura�s existing estate. ��
This position is technical and hands-on and requires an open mind attitude to venture outside of their comfort zone when necessary. � In addition, this individual will work closely with local and global technical leads, business analysts, system analysts, infrastructure and other cross-department teams to evaluate business needs and provide end-to-end technical solutions to drive our 5 year strategy.
 
Responsibilities:
� Defining strategy in support of both on premise, private cloud as well as positioning Nomura for off-premise, public cloud.
� Design and development of full automation frameworks/API relating to PaaS/IaaS.
� Working closely with global operational counterparts to ensure stable and healthy IAM platforms.
