Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production, QA, and Dev environments
  • Develop a continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
  • Continue to evaluate new technologies and update/develop standard practices
  • Designs, implements and maintains continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) automation pipelines including build, deployment, and configuration management
  • Designs and implements proactive monitoring to ensure health, performance and security of all deployed applications
  • Designs and implements systems and tools used by other teams to troubleshoot applications (e.g. logging)
  • Produces high quality systems documentation
  • Develops scripts, tools, libraries, and systems to help automate continuous integration and delivery process and to simplify operations of applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues
  • Work closely with the DBA team to support jobs and assist with production deployments
  • Manage all information security compliance as it relates to company security requirements

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • 3+ years of experience with TSQL, Stored Procedures
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with backup, restore and recovery models
  • Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery options for SQL Server

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with database replication, SSIS, ETL
  • Strong communication skills and strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work closely with development team
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
