Job Description

TOP CRITERIA:

  • Must be able to have the Database experience to jump right in when they start and begin helping immediately
  • Looking for a Senior Level DBA (minimum of 7 years of experience)
  • Experience with performance tuning and scripting
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Need help with regular day to day DBA activities, like monitoring database performance, work through any troubleshooting required independently, work with Oracle vendor on SRs to resolve some of our existing repeating errors, supporting memory/CPU addition to improve system performance. This position will require off hrs. work as well.
  • Strong Oracle DBA background so candidate can start helping the team right away and be able to execute tasks independently. Also, need scripting and performance tuning experience
  • Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Database Administration & Management assignments/projects.
  • Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
  • Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
  • Focuses on providing thought leadership within Database Administration but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
  • Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
