  • Work as part of a cross-functional team of software architects, business architects, and designers in an agile team environment, building large, complex digital products.
  • Create a wide range of deliverables such as UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Ensure we understand our users and the problems they are trying to solve, then integrate that shared understanding into the team and all our deliverables.
  • Organize a creative process that fosters collaboration, productivity and positivity that will empower a growing design team.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Classically trained in design; someone who can conceive the why of a product (UX) as well as beautifully execute the how (UI).
  • Solid portfolio that showcases your diversity and design process across Web, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Strong storytelling skills to present and defend your design decisions based on design thinking methodologies and fundamental UX principles.
  • Expert knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, and frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap (Bonus if knowledgeable in JavaScript & PHP).
  • A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and enabling user success.
  • A strong collaborative mindset and the ability to work with team members across all departments.
  • Experience working closely with developers to create new products or improving existing ones.
  • Familiar with design thinking and lean startup methodologies.
  • Familiar with the concept of design libraries and have the appetite and motivation to succeed.
  • Juggle multiple projects and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate project status to management team and stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Responsive web design from ground up (using grid systems like Boootstrap or React)
  • HTMl5

  • CMS management
  • understands servers and serve side application and development mobile integration and dev, etc
  • Knowledge of Section 508
  • A background on e-learning/online training is desired (SCORM)
  • Background creating custom content and gaming scenarios using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
