Job Description

Our financial services client is need of a proven and experienced full-stack Ruby on Rails Developer to work within teams that are and delivery enterprise financial services middle office systems that transact a high volume of diverse asset class. In this role, you will be not only be designing and coding, but mentoring other developers to help build a world class software engineering capability within the Middle Office Technology Group (in a Capital Markets space). Experience working in the financial services sector with fundamental knowledge of Trading/Securities/Capital Markets is a major plus.

In lieu of strong Ruby on Rails skills, Python is acceptable if the resource possesses proven depth of experience and knowledge working in financial services/Investment Banking.

Our Client is performing TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Business Driven Development), and relevant skills are required in our resources.

These application engineers will be working on the Ruby on Rails framework in an agile environment working to accelerate the development of its Microservices/APIs for data delivery to clients and other internal systems. Working experience with Messaging (message based architecture is needed).
