POSITION DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Sr. Applications Developer - MuleSoft

DEPARTMENT: Data Services

OVERVIEW:
This position in a high performance team requires strong development, architecture experience in designing, developing and monitoring customer-facing middleware services for L Brands. The majority of the work will involve designing and developing new services using API Led Architecture Paradigm. There will also be some work will involving monitoring and supporting changes that exist in middleware services infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead work focused on the technical aspects of multiple enterprise applications, including system configuration, process and code analysis, and development.
  • Consult on a variety of existing and emerging technologies and associated services and processes
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in multiple applications or technical discipline, Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies.
  • Overall Technical Lead on multiple projects or large scale programs. Leads project segments, including cutover planning, TUT, Integration or other test phases with a technical focus. May serve as overall lead for projects or programs representing an area of work.
  • Mentor and train team members in operational support activities, including on-call support.
  • Drive identification and resolution of issues leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications.
  • Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio.
  • Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed. Facilitate explorations with the business teams.
