Job Description:

Responsible for leadership, organization and oversight of all Information Technology (IT) testing automation initiatives throughout the enterprise. Works with Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) leadership to establish, support and advance testing automation during IT projects and for IT Product and Technology Centers to assure consistency and compliance of testing automation.


Technical Knowledge/Skill/Experience:

    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant technical and business experience designing, conducting and leading testing automation activities is required.
    • Demonstrated experience starting up testing automation and providing advocacy and change leadership is required.
    • Demonstrated experience leading testing automation initiatives and teams is required.
    • Experience creating, running and maintaining testing automation test cases, scripts and regression test suites is required.
    • Experience with testing automation as part of work scope for projects, the ransition of automated test suites from projects to operational support, and maintaining automation regression test suites to remain current is required.
    • A working understanding of project based Software Delivery, application production Support and QA / Testing methodologies is required.
    • Experience working in a TCoE or equivalent organizational structure is preferred.
    • Knowledge of Client testing tools, Unified Functional Test automation tool in particular is preferred.
    • Experience with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Solution (SaaS) is preferred.
    • Industry recognized certification for testing automation is a plus.
    • Ability to form partnerships with and influence business and IT stakeholders, and work across a complex and diverse enterprise environment is required.
    • Ability to work independently with high level direction and oversight is required.
    • Exceptional communication, facilitation and interpersonal (e.g., listening, persuasion) skills are required. Excellent, leadership, negotiation and presentation skills are required.
    • Ability to shift perspective from high level big picture to low-level detail.
    • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
    • Ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Quality Management, related discipline or equivalent experience required.
