Job Description

Knowledge



    • Advanced Kubernetes knowledge, and/or "CKA" Certified Kubernetes Administrator
    • Knowledge of Public Cloud architectures, configurations, services, and solutions (Azure / ARM Templates, cloud storage, Cosmos DB, Autoscaling, AWS/Cloud Formation, EC2, S3; or relevant from other providers
    • Advanced knowledge of information systems concepts, system administration and cloud and platforms
    • Advanced knowledge of containers and container management technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, etc
    • Experience leveraging and managing CI/CD toolchain products like Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc
    • Experience with high availability solutions, multi-site application deployments, and disaster recovery / business continuity methodologies



Skills



    • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation programming -- languages like Ruby, Python, JavaScript, BASH
    • Experience with frameworks and platforms such as NodeJS, React, Redux, NET Core, etc
    • Experience with Twelve Factor software development practices
    • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet
    • Excellent knowledge of system design and hardware at an enterprise level, aka "Full Stack Engineering"
    • Strong technical/analytical skills
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
    • Excellent communication along with the ability to handle multiple priorities and high stress situations
    • Strong relationship skills and collaborative style to enable success across multiple partners
    • Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver sound results



Education



    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
