Help to define the user interface for new and existing products and features for our client's internal financial tools. Develop high level and/or detailed user journeys, wireframes and prototypes, mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change.
Requirements:
Solid academic background in interaction design or related field. Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces. Strong visual design sense. Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills. Experience creating the following UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity layouts.
Candidates should have experience designing a product. That means that they have demonstrated the ability to work with digital product managers and engineers to understand user needs and design software that provides a specific utility to their end-users. In other words, they have designed digital tools before. In contrast, if their experience is exclusively with digital marketing, content, or purely informational sites or software, that is not enough experience for the role.
Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory- Highly proficient in UI Design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, various prototyping tools) - Experience working on enterprise software - Experience in financial industries or other relevant highly regulated industries - Experience designing and shipping digital products - Candidates must have created wireframes, user journeys, and other UX deliverables. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills -
