It  is seeking a Human Capital Management Technical Lead at our headquarters in Liberty Corner, New Jersey. 
The HCM (Human Capital Management) Technical Lead will be the technical leader for the implementation and ongoing support of the Workday HCM platform. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Chief Solution Architect for the Workday platform; provide technical leadership and vision
  • Collaboration with and oversight of implementation partner s technical team
  • Consultation with business and technical teams on integration design and maintenance; collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other area architects and technical leads on design decisions
  • Oversight of and input into data conversion activities
  • Input into project planning activities
  • Analysis, design and build of new complex custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality
  • Technical support for design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of HR Business Processes in Workday
  • Input into and technical support of Workday security model, including ability to create and modify security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to User Based Security in Workday
  • Participant in security reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations as well as new integrations
  • Perform routine production support
  • Collaborate with HCM BSA and HR Functional Lead to stay abreast of new functionality becoming available in Workday and drive the deployment of feature releases
  • Responsibility for ongoing tenant management
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to business users and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery

Work Experience and Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline).
  • 5+ years of Workday experience including integrations, custom reporting, security management, tenant management
  • 7 - 10 years of Software Development experience
  • Experience implementing, enhancing and supporting the various Workday HCM modules
  • Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)
  • In-depth understanding of security models and approaches to implementing security architecture within Workday
  • Workday certifications a plus
  • Technical Architecture experience
  • Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
  • Background in data transformation and analytics
  • Technical experience with XML and Java
  • Experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning
  • Experience collaborating with and overseeing activities of implementation partner vendors
  • Understanding of HR business and functions
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
