Degree educated with a mathematical / computational degree or similar (Engineering or Physics for example)
* Ability to engage and communicate with senior management across business and IT functions.
* Ability to lead teams in a dynamic and changing workplace.
* Strong project management skills.
* Flexible and adaptable, being willing to move focus between components and projects easily.
* Hands on individual that can easily work at a micro and macro level with teams.
* Prior experience in the financial services sector, and ideally in risk technology a plus.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in capacity modeling of complex technology infrastructures for purposes of capacity management.
* Or scientific research modeling experience in a graduate level university institution.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and modeling skills.
* Experience with data analysis technologies like Excel, GNU R, Python, etc.
* Experience with documentation tools like SharePoint, Confluence WiKi, etc.
* Experience in working with technical teams to implement automated tool solutions.
Bonus Skills
* No-SQL database experience (in particular sorted key-value stores such as Apache HBase, Apache Accumolo for instance). Apache Spark (or similar analysis tools).
* Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Shell.
* Experience with capacity management in a cloud environment (e.g. Amazon, Azure)
