Job Description

Responsibilities

    • Planning, developing/implementing automation design, creation and maintenance of automated functional tests.
    • Develops automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, BDD (Behavioral Driven Development Framework), TDD (Test Driven Development Framework) tools – Test NG/Cucumber & Gherkin, SQL, etc.
    • Create and execute User Acceptance Testing, collaborating with the operations, business and all other testers to ensure coverage of all necessary types of testing.
    • Backend testing using SQL
    • Ensure proper QA policies and testing coverage is applied to assigned projects and task
    • Work with multiple QA members and developers, with different degrees of knowledge in automation.
    • Willing to work closely with DevOps team to establish deliverables, scope, and quality standards as well as meet timelines..
    • Participate in the Agile software delivery process by writing, reviewing functional and design specifications, develop and review test cases in JAVA, JUnit and Selenium, write user stories and tasks for sprints, coordinate efforts and communication with the developers and other team members to ensure resolution of defects, and manage/triage defects in the bug tracking system.
    • Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as much as possible.

Required Skills/ Experience

    • Experience in BDD and TDD and tools (such as Gherkin and Cucumber) to implement methodologies
    • Experience creating automation framework from scratch using one of the following technologies :Test NG/Cucumber
    • Strong experience in writing automated test scripts using Selenium web driver
    • Experience in using: Eclipse/ Junit
    • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages/C++/Java//Perl/JRuby/Ruby. Preferably JAVA
    • Understanding of QA principles, software development lifecycles, performance, stress, soak and load testing methodologies
    • Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including one or more of the following:
    • Build/deploy/version control tools | Jenkins | Maven | Git | Subversion
    • Experience with constructing SQL statements on relational databases
    • Strong analytic and conceptual skills, ability to debug complex issues thoroughly and describe them in detailed bug reports.
    • Solid understanding of all parts of Software Engineering (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
