The Quality Assurance Analyst executes plans, designs and deploys effective test suites. They will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing to ensure that our products are defect-free and conform to specifications. This role will also communicate with our clients and internal stakeholders and may be required to train, instruct and direct offshore resources who are less familiar with our processes and applications.

What you will be doing:

  • Create and execute test scripts, test plans, use cases and scenarios that will determine optimal system/product performance according to specifications
  • Conduct various types of application testing such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods
  • Evaluate, plan, design, develop and deploy testing techniques for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout development/product lifecycles
  • Analyze formal test results in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues and interoperability flaws
  • Produce defect reports that are easily re-produced and fixed by the other project team members
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
  • Contribute to pre-testing phase of project development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations

What we're looking for:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years Quality Assurance or computer related experience
  • Test Automation, Framework design and implementation
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • On-call availability.
