Job Description

Requirements:-

Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field of study and a minimum 2 years of directly-related professional-level developer experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.

Must have demonstrated success working with and a fundamental understanding of ASP.NET, MVC, C #, TSQL, JavaScript, CSS, Python, Django and Entity Framework 6. Requires previous documented experience in creating highly scalable systems and frameworks, developing version control tools such as git or TFS, experience documenting product enhancements and bug fixes, an understanding of responsive design/development and mobile best practices, and basic cross-browser testing and troubleshooting experience.

The successful candidate will be able to both understand the big picture and be forward looking while also successfully implementing and overseeing day-to-day responsibilities. Must have strong problem-solving skills, proven ability to assess current and future system risks, and the ability to brainstorm with other team members and leverage constructive feedback.

Experience using open-source software and skills related to developing user interfaces and data modeling are required, as well as experience with building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations including server, network and cloud hosting environment experience.

Requires a professional demeanor, strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills, excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be enthusiastic and willing to take on new duties and tasks and taking on challenges, and have demonstrated success in working independently as well as a part of a team, and the ability to work against firm deadlines. Must have strong skills in the systems and processes outlined above.

In addition to the required skills and abilities listed above, the following capabilities are preferred: Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Node, JQuery, etc., previous experience architecting RESTful APIs, understanding of data warehousing and design concepts, experience with Angular JS, Backbone.js, Azure, Docker, and Entity Framework Core, and prior experience implementing and testing database design. Experience with the development of commercial software products as a service as well as experience with performance, scalability and reliability of software is preferable.
