Position Description:
This team is building an asset management database to allow different Groups to track the location and quatity of their IT assets.
Looking for a Data Analyst to be responsible for the analytical aspects of the project. Perform pattern recognition, data mining and recognizing trends within the data to best optimize the data models being used
Will be looking at data sets and determine the best way to link them together to make information more efficiently available
Will need to have the interpersonal skills to ultimate train users of this system on how to be a little more analytical and to be able to pull the data that they need.
Candidate will be performing minor clean up of the data as well.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or similar
2. Experience with Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Identifying trends
3. Experience optimizing data models
4. Strong analytical experience
5. Strong relational database knowledge (PostGres, SQL Server, MySQL etc)
Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
1. Experience with Python, R, SQL programming or similar
2. Experience with a data visualization tool (such as Tableau)
Additional Requirements:
