-Experienced and senior java and cloud architect who can help us scale our cloud architecture, database architecture, CI/CD tools and application architecture as we scale as a business.

-currently have predominately a monolithic Java + PostgreSQL code base with some docker containers for key parts of the architecture. While we understand the benefits of containerization / microservices in some instances, we are still a small team (<10 developers) with a predominately remote development team. We want someone who can thoughtfully take us through transitions, understanding the right architecture for our time as a company, yet enabling us to support large customers and installations with 1000 nodes on the network updating multiple times a minute.

-Willing and able to get into the code and fix bugs and build features when necessary.

-Strong leadership capabilities, levels of curiosity and interest to stay up to date on the latest technologies

- Experience building and maintain systems in IIOT i.e dealing with 10k+ end nodes talking to multiple cloud instances

-Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science or equivalent
