Job Description
As a Supply Planner on the Production Line Planning team within CDI you will:
  • Participate in the S&OP process to gain agreement on consensus demand and resulting supply plan
  • Plan and order all constituent components outside of lead time per consensus demand
  • Leverage Supply Chain planning system of record for collaborative inventory and replenishment planning
  • Derive, maintain, and leverage planning reference data including lead time, safety stock, and reorder points
  • Collaborate with product managers and service owners to ensure supply positioning that supports new product/service introductions
  • Reduce infrastructure obsolescence cost

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and interdependencies
  • Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management
  • Advanced knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
  • Ability to set and drive the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs
  • Knowledge of financial control and budget management
  • 6+ years of Supply Chain Planning (Demand/Supply) experience or other related planning experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Issue resolution and problem management skills with ability to intuitively determine the most effective solution or escalation path
  • Proven experience working within a large global organization, culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio). Ability to learn proprietary software and databases.
  • Preferred: Experience with virtualized data centers, Rapid Response, Kaizen, Lean methodology, and Agile methodology
