Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ 4-year degree from an accredited institution in MIS, IT, Computer Science or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience

+ Minimum 5 years of Linux/\

  • NIX system administration and operation of highly available systems (preferably in CentOS/RedHat)

+ Minimum 5 years of experience deploying websites for mobile and handheld devices

+ Minimum 3 years of experience with WordPress or other related open-source content management system with setup and maintenance of LAMP servers

+ Minimum 3 years of systems analysis experience including requirements gathering, functional design, and technical design

+ Experience setting up and maintaining centralized version control system (SVN and Git)

+ Fluency in administering Apache Web Server, MySQL database server

+ Extensive experience with MySQL/MS-SQL, familiarity with design and architecture of relational databases

+ Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose server security issues and performance problems and quickly implement solutions

+ Working knowledge of browser technology, features and functionality

+ Experience with system, unit and integration testing of web applications

+ AWS Experience a plus
