Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, visual designers, Technical leads to bring mobile experiences to life. You will build component libraries, templates, and client-side applications that will be deployed across a wide range of platforms and environments.
  • You will leverage the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce experiences that push industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance.
  • You should be equally as passionate about creating beautiful and usable interfaces as you are about crafting elegant code. We want someone who can not only develop amazing experiences, but also collaborate effectively with our best-of-class Visual Design team. Our ideal Ionic Mobile Developer should have a great eye for detail and design to support their development skillset.
  • You will be creating hybrid mobile apps and web apps using Ionic, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and Javascript. Must develop responsive UIs for seamless integration across multiple screen sizes, including desktop, tablet and mobile.
  • Must be able to lead and deliver quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
  • Must be able to develop HTML markup with CSS styling.
  • Must have advanced-level knowledge of Ionic, Angular, HTML5, CSS3/4, JavaScript, and responsive web development practices.
  • Must be able to integrate front end solutions with multiple data sources, including XML, JSON and APIs. Expert level knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS along with JavaScript task runners like Gulp/Webpack is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of demonstrable experience in digital and web.
  • Good understanding of UX and UI design best practices.
  • A willingness and desire to re-examine what you know in order to continually challenge your creativity.
  • Deep understanding of web standards, responsive web design, and atomic/modular design principles.
  • Experience working with n-tier web applications.
  • Extensive Front-end development proficiencies, including:
  • Ionic/Angular experience is a must
  • HTML / HTML5
  • CSS / CSS3 / SCSS
  • JavaScript (ES5, ES6+, TypeScript)
  • Native mobile experience is a plus(ability to build applications using XCode and Android command line tools)
  • Experience with CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation
  • Front-end build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Node/NPM
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Use of Git version control
  • Web accessibility utilizing WCAG, Section 508, and WAI-ARIA standards
  • Experience with cross-platform, cross-device, and cross-browser testing
