Job Description

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree in the field of data science, computer science, data analytics or business analytics is preferred.
  • Two years of experience with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in data mining or reporting, or alternatively, demonstrated proficiency in SQL & database querying.

  • Knowledge of graphics and visualization tools such as Adobe CS 5 Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Flash, Tableau, Power BI, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and/or large data sets and translate them for use in graphic or interactive visualizations for the web and/or other media
  • Experience with data analysis and data visualization using tools such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, R
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Knowledgeable of enterprise management systems such as Ellucian (Colleague, Banner), Workday, etc.
  • Use software applications such as Excel, SharePoint, Informer Report Writer and User Interface (UI).
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
