Job Description

Position Overview:

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and documentation of enterprise application integrations while adhering to departmental standards
  • Translate Agile stories and acceptance criteria into a technical design, then code and test logic
  • Assemble ad hoc queries for data extraction, transformation, and load purposes in the integration layer
  • Prepare integration documentation for the purpose of transitioning items to the Application Operations team
  • Learn and master new technologies including cyber security and encryption technologies to meet the needs of assignments and comply with Cyber Security team’s requirements for the integration layer
  • Partner with Integration Architect to research new technologies and deliver POCs
  • Understand the customizations to our software system and be able to speak to them, both technically and functionally, to all levels of the organization
  • Understand test driven development and software quality requirements
  • Perform automated unit testing of integration packages
  • Contribute to and ensure effective design of all major modifications
  • Troubleshoot issues using various debug methods
  • Training and project assignments that will help you obtain advanced knowledge in various integration platforms
  • Understanding of the Commercial Real Estate Industry and business practices from the largest Real Estate company in the world

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field
  • 3-5 years of hands on integration experience with Microsoft SSIS
  • 3-5 years of hands on experience with SSDT control flow, data flow, event-driven logic, and logging
  • 2-3 years of experience with 3rd party SSIS components for data integrations (e.g. CozyRoc, DBAMP)
  • At least 3+ years of experience with database design and development including creation of views, stored procedures, functions, triggers in MS SQL Server environment
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work/execute on multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Experience using Git based source control (e.g. Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge in .NET Framework and C#.NET scripting in SSIS
  • Knowledge in job scheduling in various scheduling tools including SQL Agent
