Job Description

Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain software
    • Write efficient, well documented code
    • Actively participate in daily agile / scrum meetings
    • Use and recommend best practices
    • Recommend opportunities to improve systems & algorithms
    • Adhere to client SDLC practices

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of software development and design
    • Hands-on experience in writing, debugging and optimizing data processing applications
    • Excellent SQL programming experience including stored procedures
    • Experience with Python, Java and shell scripting
    • Understanding of machine learning concepts and using spark ML or scikit-learn libraries
    • Experience with Hadoop - HDFS, Hive, Scala, Spark
    • Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
    • Strong diagramming skills flowcharts, data flows, etc.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
