Job Description

Key Job Functions

 

  • Play a key role if defining the Enterprise ETL Architecture.
  • Develop new and support existing ETL processes using industry leading ETL tools.
  • Perform source system analysis as required.
  • Use Embarcadero ER-Studio to review ETL development instructions and provide feedback as necessary to Data Architects.
  • Performance tune SQL statements executed by ETL code as required.
  • Perform source system analysis as required.
  • Implement versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary.
  • Develop stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries where needed.
  • Support a production environment as necessary.
  • Work with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implementing appropriate data partitioning strategy for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Perform basic DBA functions as needed in the Development and System Test environments in support of Enterprise Data Development process and Configuration Management practices.
