Job Description:

We are looking for an SSIS ETL Developer to work for us at our client in Columbus. It is a potentially long-term, right-to-hire engagement. You will work on a backlog of work items, participate in Three Amigos meetings, develop and code in SSIS and SQL, understand current ETL patterns, understand the data, ask questions about the data, and double check how the data should be managed. You will also:

  • Be assigned to multiple projects, including large and small projects that have significant company impact. A set of the projects will cover new components for the client’s data warehouse. It could involve significant design, new tables, new development, and unit testing.
  • Follow company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
  • Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
  • Review functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
  • Collaborate with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. .
  • Develop and maintain operational and system level documentation.
