What You'll Bring: 

  • Bachelors and/or Master s Degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of hands on experience developing and designing strong Hadoop based solutions
  • Extremely comfortable working on Linux and Windows. Has extensive experience in scripting such as shell & power shell
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines in Hadoop/SPARK using MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Spark, Sqoop, Oozie, Pig, SQL etc.
  • 2+ years experience building solutions with Python, SCALA

We'd Love to See: 

  • Experience in Healthcare
  • Experience in NoSQL, Kafka
  • Broad knowledge of software development including software architecture, functional and non-functional aspects, CI/CD, principles and tools

  • Evaluates and identifies ways to automate, streamline, and improve maintenance and administrative practices.
  • Analyze complex business process and design modularized solution for better scalability and maintenance.
  • Build & test highly performant and scalable enterprise-grade ETL pipelines on Hadoop platform
  • Actively participate and contribute in scrum ceremonies.
  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others.
