Job Description
<p><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities: </strong> <br class="_mce_tagged_br" /> <br class="_mce_tagged_br" />Work directly with the Learning Systems project leader and a group of other business analysts to understand system reporting issues and collect input on future changes</p> <div class="_mce_tagged_br">Engage and support the Global Learning administrators, instructional designers and overall end user community to ensure reports are performing properly and meeting the user's expectations.</div> <div class="_mce_tagged_br">Develop a detailed understanding of the Learning application portfolio, including functional and technical dependencies between system</div> <p>User support, documentation and training</p> <div>IT HR Business Analyst is responsible for the day to day support, documentation and training of learning application reports. Effectively executing this will require the IT HR Business Analyst to:</div> <p>Develop an expertise and become a primary support contact for learning application reports. The portfolio applications to be supported across the Learning Systems team include:<br /><br /></p> <div>Saba Cloud Learning Management System - SaaS solution<br /> Saba Classroom - SaaS solution</div> <div>Business Objects (BO) - packaged solution<br /> SSRS</div> <p>Actively monitor and resolve user support issues, working closely with the Operations teams</p> <div><br /> Assist in answering end user procedural and system questions</div> <div><br /> Manage and implement application configurations and/or administrative setup configurations in the application as required</div> <div><br /> Assist the Learning Systems Project Leader and other Business Analysts in developing training content and conduct or support training as required</div> <div><br /> Assist in the execution of application implementation tasks including:</div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div>Writing and reviewing configuration / functional specifications</div> <div><br /> Reviewing and approving technical specifications<br /> Building test scenarios and execution plans<br /> Coordinating and executing user testing</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><br /> <strong>Is this a good fit? (Requirements):</strong><br /> Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field</div> <div>Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience supporting or implementing application<br /> Provee ability of working in challenging technical, customized and packaged software</div> <div><br /> Ability to develop a detailed understanding of system functionality in order to serve as a subject matter expert within the team</div> <div><br /> Balance of strong business process knowledge and technical system knowledge</div> <div><br /> Prior experience working with 3rd party application vendors and consulting vendor agencies</div> <div><br /> Proficiency with large enterprise applications (e.g. Oracle)</div> <div><br /> Proficiency with SQL</div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div><br /> Successful track record of delivering components or work streams of global projects</div> <div><br /> Knowledge of learning systems such as Saba and Saba Classroom</div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div>Proven success in effective virtual team management</div> <div><br /> Balance of business process knowledge and experience implementing mix of custom and package software to meet business needs</div> <p><br /><br /></p>
