Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build out data sets leveraging 3rd party data sources and CRM data to provide Sephora with deeper analytical insights

Identify new opportunities within markets for Sephora to attract and engage customers in order to drive adoption and loyalty

Work with media partners to advance targeting and measurement capabilities to align campaign objectives with Sephora’s business objectives

Develop internal performance benchmarks to help optimize prospecting and retargeting marketing efforts

Drive Sephora’s acquisition strategy with business partners to build out best practices around driving new client growth

Ensure campaign data governance, troubleshoot agency data, and provide deeper insights on business KPIs (New Client Acquisition, Omnichannel revenue, Client analytics, Cross-Campaign Insights)

Oversee projects to scale agency campaign reporting, measurement, and audience insights

Support ad-hoc data and insights requests by Sephora Marketing, Media Activation and Brand Marketing teams

Build and execute on the learning agenda designing tests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field with 3 or more years of experience in an analytical role
  • Paid Media marketing or analytics experience, either at a digital agency or client side. Programmatic and/or Paid Social experience preferred with some knowledge of Paid Search, Affiliate or Video a plus.
  • Experience using Digital Marketing platforms such as Adwords, DoubleClick Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Kenshoo, Doubleclick Bid Manager, etc.
  • Comfortable performing complex analyses to generate data driven insight and recommendations
  • Exceptional creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • SQL experience preferred; advanced Excel skills required
  • Great attention to detail, with ability to dig deep into details while keeping focus on the primary business question at hand
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to tell the story of campaign performance and to communicate complex concepts in a simple way
  • High sense of integrity and respect for others; experience working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload without becoming overwhelmed
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive in an environment with rapid change
