Hadoop Developer

Multi-Year Contract

Top Skills: Hadoop developer extensive experience with Spark / Kafka, and Azure

Required skills:

  • Experience working on any Hadoop distribution, such as MapR, Cloudera/Hortonworks and have at least coded in Apache Hadoop , Spark, Kafka, Hive, Pig for 3 years (or) more
  • Proficient in utilizing cloud computing virtualization technologies, storage architecture & AWS/Azure technologies such EC2, S3, RDS services, SNS notifications , Lambda
  • Experience in real-time analytics applications , Spark streaming, NIFI , Change data capture
  • Sound knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server , Postgress , Teradata) and Expert in at least one SQL language such as T-SQL or PL/SQL
  • Experience with automation scripting languages such as Python / Perl / bash / or PowerShell (or) Java will be an advantage
  • Familiar with API design and development for RESTful services and knowledge around webservices
  • Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods & familiar with DevOps automation tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proven capability to deliver excellent results in competitive environment
