Job Description:

The DevOps Engineer position combines software development and information technology operations to automate and shorten the systems development life cycle while delivering features, fixes and updates frequently to stay in close alignment with product delivery requirements.

Responsibilties:

  • Define build and deployment processes, identify tools and maintain operational excellence
  • Create and manage tools to enable continuous build, deployment and delivery through automation and processes
  • Serve as a bridge between R&D and Operations to enable seamless transition between software development, testing, build and deployment
  • Create systems that allow organizations to self-serve in its build/deployment process
  • Maintain tooling and processes through periodic upgrades
  • Research new technologies and methodologies though continuous improvement iterations
  • Follow and support corporate security policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to this role. Maintain customer and corporate privacy standards as outlined by HIPAA.
