Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead Engineer to serve as the project lead for Compliance & Regulatory testing services focused on Bank Holding Company Regulatory Reporting as well as global internet banking (SWIFT, CHIPS, Fed & ACH) payment transactions; and is responsible for promoting Compliance & Regulatory solutions to ever changing global environment.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead Engineer collaboratively works with the QA managers, project stakeholders supporting the Americas Divisions (BCDAD, Controllers and RMDAD), internal and third-party development teams, internal quality assurance (QA) teams, GIS IT System partners (Internal Development Interfaces, Application Architecture, Enterprise Systems) to define and execute all aspects of in-house development and third-party Compliance and Regulatory applications/solutions.

In addition, the Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead Engineer also serves as an “IT liaison” between the business stakeholders and third-party vendors to define testing strategies against the business and functional design requirements; manage and maintain issues toward resolution and third-party production implementation within the non-production environments.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer role requires knowledge of formal project management processes, software testing best practices, and system design life cycle frame work, as well as expertise in the following management areas: project estimation, test strategy development, process improvement, interface development: middleware, ETL and TWS, project scope management including resource, communications and risk management.

Day to day activities include the ability to create and maintain an information technology project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation. Utilize software life-cycle methodology and testing. Coordinate delivery of development and production releases that meet quality assurance standards within the non-production environments. Assist technical teams with GIS interface manual and automated testing design frameworks as well as testing impact analysis. Assist IT and Business groups in creating and developing quality assurance test strategies and test plans.
