Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and work ethics.
  • Analysis, design, and development and delivery of Web-based applications including APIs/webservices.
  • Full life-cycle development of SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Designer, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013, and SharePoint online.
  • Migrating clients from SharePoint on-premise to online is a plus
  • Working with the CDC and an active background check is a plus but not a requirement.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with analysis, evaluation, and assessment of requirements leading to development of recommendations for system/process improvements, optimization and implementation of SharePoint solutions.
  • Manage Jr./mid-level developer
  • Manage tasks optimally with Jr./mid-level developer
  • Design, develop and implement CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and HTML and graphic design.
  • Development and delivery of Web based applications including APIs/Web services
  • Develop and implement Workflows (WWF), custom controls, application pages and integrating with external systems.
  • Develop and implement Nintex 2010 and Nintex 2013 Workflows and Forms Support working with SharePoint Object model and following the SDLC process
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong knowledge of systems and their related components, and make recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, or security of these systems as appropriate.
  • Accountable for meeting assigned project objectives including timelines and budget.
  • Manage service desk tickets and troubleshoot/resolve end user issues.
  • Responsible for portal area content including managing user access requests, compliance of site content, and creation of sub-sites and sub-areas.
  • Provide train-the- trainer level knowledge transfer for new developers. .

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Development in SharePoint 2010 & 2013 support and its related technologies: Web Parts, Event Receivers, Master Pages, MMS, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience with JavaScript and the AngularJS framework.
  • Strong experience with Nintex
  • Experience in creating site definitions, configuration/customization of SharePoint sites.
  • Solid understanding of and experience with SharePoint security.
  • Development and delivery of Web-based applications including APIs/webservices.
  • Past experience in developing/supporting solutions in ASP.NET, PowerShell and STSADM.
  • Experience in implementing/supporting SharePoint solutions which include managed meta data services, enterprise search, and best bets to efficiently manage metadata, indexing, taxonomy, ontologies and folksonomies.
  • Experience conducting queries, analysis and generating reports utilizing Power BI
  • Strong technical writing skills and oral communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Complete understanding and experience in developing 508 compliant sites and documentation.
