Job Description:

The individual working in the IPRM Test Lead role must be hands-on and willing to perform a full cycle of testing functions including authoring of strategy, plan, design, estimations, test case creation, test plan creation and actual test execution.

This role requires flexible individual who can work across multiple work streams and projects.

Good time management skills and the ability to effectively work on multiple projects/applications concurrently are required.

This role would also be competent to review work products & assets to ensure that IPRM Test Engineering team provides value by creating a great work product.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs and leads processes related to testing activities for new software development systems and applications.
  • Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
  • Serves as a mentor to lower level testing analysts and may provide work direction to others in project team(s).
  • Reviews and analyze requirements, design document(s), mapping documents, work products and ensures they are understood and are usable for testing purposes.
  • Maintain ownership of test cases and testing assignments, ensuring that testing supports the defined project needs and is driven to completion.
  • To the extent that it is reasonable, Test Lead should go the extra mile to make sure that the project's needs are met.
  • Tailors information to appeal to the level and interest of others.
  • Outlines potential cost/savings outcomes of technology use.
  • Understands how the IT group operates and how his/her role meets customer needs and creates value.
  • Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation.
  • Takes initiative to work on challenging or stretch work assignments.
