  • Provides all the automation to the development teams to move code from dev to test to finally production. This individual will fit into approximately an 8 member team, this individual will provide service to all teams (20 in IT) for delivery of automation.
  • There are a number of tools that we have posted in the requirement. Most common is Jenkins, Chef, Run Deck and Artifactory, tools written in.
  • The main criteria is a great candidate who is in the space of DevOps ideally coming from a development team. There are a lot of build and release engineers in Devops, really looking more for development mindset, the developers will be able to produce more of the mindset and development items. Need more emphasis with programming background and interested in working in DevOps. The programming mindset is really what s required
  • Ideally a development background, interest in automating and ability to learn the new tools.
  • Must be experienced with Agile teams.
  • Believe strongly in the idea of replacing repetitive tasks with automated processes.
  • The CI/CD pipeline is built primarily by the Dev team, but they will be writing a lot of code around tooling and processing.
  • Programming skills come into play when we have a directory of files that we want to ensure the files comparison is automated
  • Check your coding with documentation, communicating that through confluence. Need to live up to same standards
