Job Title : Sharepoint Developer

Location : Southfield MI

Job Description:

Design, develop, test and implement features and code using PowerShell cmdlets and implementations.

Configure SharePoint timer jobs based on business requirements, service applications like Search, Metadata, User Profile Synchronization

Gather requirements from business users and record them clearly in a format useful for development

Integrate existing and new applications using modern Enterprise Integration Patterns

Identify and resolve errors in the PowerShell cmdlets and resulting implementation

Create documentation on PowerShell cmdlet approach and guides for implementation

Provide mentorship to resources in proper PowerShell standards and implementation

Facilitate code refinements that result in PowerShell implementation refinements and efficiency

Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server or a Farm

Configuring all Creation of a Content DB and maintaining which involves maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server.

Assignment of proper permission levels for users of a SharePoint site

Configuration of Business Connectivity Services for connecting to a SQL database or a WCF service

All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree or higher in a closely-related field of study

3+ years extensive experience with PowerShell

5+ years experience with client-server and web application programming in a Microsoft environment

2+ years .NET development experience

3+ years Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 Development, Configuration Management and Administration

2+ years Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Development, Configuration Management and Administration

Strong software design aptitude

Required Languages: HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, JQuery, XML

Database: MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL

Microsoft TFS, PowerShell Scripting, Visual Studio

Object Oriented Programming, Frameworks, Code Generation, Design Patterns and Practices

Solid understanding of IIS, Sharepoint workflows and Active Directory

Preferred:

Financial Services Industry experience

Experience with Image capture and storage software programs (ApplicationXtender/Captiva)

Microsoft FAST 2010 Development, Configuration Management, and Administration

Preferred Languages: JSON, AJAX

Strong understanding of what can be done using out of the box features in SharePoint

Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the technology concepts, practices, and procedures including:

Agile and Waterfall SDLC delivery experience
