General Job description:

  • Oracle database administrator, all versions through 12c
  • Exadata "database machine administrator" covering all of the database, operating system, and storage administration
  • Strong background in performance analysis, debugging and tuning of an Oracle database
  • Expertise in Oracle recovery manager (RMAN)
  • Strength in at least one of the areas - Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Active DataGuard
  • Performance tuning  , Exadata Tuning experience preferable
  • Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex problems under pressure
  • Incident resolutions in a large scale operations environment
  • Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to a successful conclusion
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work.
