Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will help with assist with the development of a large code library used for trading North American financial transmission rights (FTR) markets. You will primarily be focused on utilizing Git to automate test cases for trading models developed in MATLAB in order to thoroughly test code before deployment into production.
  • You may also be asked to improve speed/memory utilization of existing MATLAB models.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree with a Computer Science/Computer Engineering focus; Master's degree a plus
* 0-2 years of work experience; experience working with large software projects preferred
* Strong background in coding is a requirement, with experience in MATLAB strongly preferred
* Experience with Git or other version control systems is a requirement
* Familiarity with Tableau is a plus
* Financial & analytical capabilities in pricing and risk management is a plus
* Basic understanding of North American power markets is a plus
* Highly confident, articulate individual who is a team player and works well across the organization
