Job Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for the review, development and implementation of business process solutions at DAVIS.

 Responsibilities:

Business Needs and Solutions

  • Develop, validate and document requirements with project stakeholders using interviews, data analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis
  • Identify process inefficiencies as it relates to the business solution
  • Analyze and validate requirements against potential software solutions
  • Participate in development and implementation of new business systems
  • Configure and customize solutions to meet business requirements
  • Design and implement custom reports and data queries

IT Systems

  • Design security measures to satisfy DAVIS internal requirements and outside compliance where appropriate
  • Develop documentation to support projects, programs and system configurations
  • Provide support both in-person and remote, to include multiple offsite locations

Planning + Project Management

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
  • Participate in annual IT Project planning
  • Define business requirements and processes for IT projects
  • Lead IT initiatives
  • Conduct end user training and provide on-going support for the implementation
  • Develop implementation plans and initial end user training content

General

  • Perform responsibilities with excellence in service, integrity and building relationships as exemplified in DAVIS core values
  • Participate in annual IT Budgeting process
  • Adhere to and reinforce corporate security policies and industry best practices in day to day operations and interactions with end users
  • Maintain and foster relationships with outside technology consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for products and services
  • Responsible for administering program management in areas such as: Assets, Security Awareness, License Compliance, Education, Functionality & Enhancements, Disaster Recovery, Jobsite Support, Vendor and Contracts
  • Serve as a liaison between software vendors, operations and corporate resource group staff for issue resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned
