Job Description:

Develops strategies and manages reporting and analysis projects to assist corporate sales and operations to obtain optimum machinery sales, market share, profitability, customer satisfaction and to accomplish organizational objectives.

Will help collect and analyze data about the different business units including sales, product support, rental, etc., to prepare, analyze, and present company data and use this data to determine new processes, improve current processes, provide cost savings, and help meet company and management goals for the business units.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Company activities in regards to competitive pricing, distribution, actions, and policies and make recommendations to improve sales volume and profit
• Analyze market trends so changes in sales coverage, territory, and market strategies can be determined and implemented
• Assist in the Business Plan process, to formulate objectives, Units and Dollar Forecast
• Populate data and develop databases and Information Systems to monitor and assist the Sales Force and Sales Managers with operations and analysis and to obtain the optimum market share, performance, and profitability - this involves the use and knowledge of factory pricing structures, merchandising plans, and reporting tools for analysis and decision making
• Compile PINs (Percentage Market Share), market, sales, and historic information to be used in sales analysis
• Assist in Sales Meetings and training programs to assure Sales team members are knowledgeable and continue to expand their understanding of products, applications, markets, competitive activity, and selling skills
• Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
